Empowering Tip: Achieve your dreams

Good morning, everyone, it’s Natalie!  We all have dreams, right?  They may change as you get older, but you’ll always have dreams.  But how do you make them happen?

Athlete Joel Brown says, “The only thing that stands between you and your dream is the will to try and the belief that it is actually possible.”

What does that mean?  No one, and nothing, can stop you from achieving what you want to achieve, except for yourself.  If you believe, and you work for it, you will get there.  Sure it’s hard – anything worth having is worth working for.  I know we all feel sometimes like we just can’t do it, like the world is against us, and we’re not “good enough” (I know I sure feel that way sometimes).  But we are!  We all are!  Dig down deep inside and figure out where you want to go, ask for help from your parents and friends, and take it one step at a time.

Every assignment or project – or dream – is made up of little, tiny steps.  If you just take one step at a time, you’ll start on the path to making your dream real.  It may feel like you need to go faster, but you don’t.  Just one step at a time.  And each step?  It helps you know you can do it, and helps you believe in yourself that much more.

So go and – believe in yourself.
