Empowering Tip: Being authentic = being zen

This week, we have another quote from Dr. Wayne Dyer, author and self-development/ spiritual growth expert (I really love Dr. Dyer! I shared another one of his quotes a few weeks ago, found here). He says, “Begin practicing the intention to be authentic and peaceful with everyone. When you do so, you connect to peace itself.”

Once you learn how to be real, and choose peace over worry, forgiveness over anger, you’ll end up connecting with peace itself. Peace is about learning how to be authentic with those around you, and thus being authentic with yourself.

Of course, it’s hard to be authentic and peaceful with others all the time. But life is hard. It’s more like being zen, going with the flow – so let’s all work on learning how to be zen.
