Hi everyone! Sorry again about no video last week – I hope you still read my tip, though, because it was a good one
Today’s tip has to do with challenging yourself every day. And I want to make a pact with you guys.
I have a bucket list – and it’s insane, let me tell ya. I have things on there I hope to achieve over my whole life, like ride an elephant in Bali and travel to Stonehenge. These are obviously things I can’t get done today, or even this year. BUT, I also have the most important one, which I want to share with you today.
That’s to challenge myself every day to do something that scares me. You see, fear is no fun. Now, I’m not talking about “real” fear – like if a lion were to escape from the zoo and come right at you – that’s crazy, and you SHOULD be afraid.
No, I’m talking about what we call “irrational” fear, when you’re afraid of picking up a bug, or talking to a new person, or trying a new food. These are things that won’t hurt you, but we get scared of them anyway, because humans often don’t like new things.
So, I’ve made a pact with myself, and want to make a pact with you, to try something new every, single day! Today, I picked up a stink bug and threw it outside – for me, that’s huuuuuuggggeeee!!! But I did it. And it felt great.
I really hope you’ll join me in my pact. If you watch the video, I’ll talk more about it. And let me know what you think! It would be fun to hear what YOU’VE done today that you’re afraid of – and I’ll share more about what I’m doing, too!
That’s it for today – ta ta for now!
