Today’s quote is all about happiness: “Stop waiting for Friday, for summer, for someone to fall in love with you, for life. Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make the most of the moment you are in now.”
I want to say happiness is not about the future and past, but obviously those are factors. But for the most part, happiness is about the right now. You have to make the most of every single moment. That’ll build up those past moments, and those future-future moments, and make the in-the-moment even better.
You don’t need to be focusing on the past, or the future, all the time. Enjoy yourself. Learn how to live a little bit – we all need to learn how to do that. Maybe we’re not quite sure how, but happiness is about learning how to live.
Learn how to be happy right now, and that’s all that really matters. It’s about doing what you love, trying new things, overcoming fears … being yourself. Those are all in the moment, and we all have to learn how to do that.
