Empowering Tip: Your reactions build your character

Hi everyone!  This week’s quote is from Charles R. Swindoll, an evangelical Christian pastor, author, educator, and radio preacher.  He says, “Life is 10% what happens to me, and 90% how I react to it.”

So many different things can happen to you – they can be tragic, they can be awesome – but what matters is how you handle them.  The things that happen to you in your life are not as important as your reactions.  That’s what will build your character and make you who you are.

Pretty deep, huh?  I think so, too.
